Nordic Seating Symposium 2009

Nordic Seating Symposium
Reykjavik Iceland
May 7-9, 2009

Mand i korestol silhuetThe Nordic Seating Team would like to welcome you to the 4th Nordic Seating Symposium. The conference will take place at Grand Hotel in Reykjavík, Iceland May 7-9, 2009.

There will be one long Presymposium Workshop on Wednesday the 6th of May from 9 - 15 and two shorter Workshops to choose between in the morning hours before the Symposium from 9 - 12. Please see description of workshops in the programme.

It is possible to participate in only the workshop or 1 day which is May 8th. But of course we recommend the whole event as there is a big variety of subjects to choose between and a lot to learn.

This is a forum for professional, manufactures and users to come together and share their knowledge and expertise. The main themes at the Symposium will be Seating, Mobility and Participation

Please note that there might be slight changes in the programme before the Symposium.

The Symposium is a result of cooperation between the Assistive Technology centre in Iceland, The Danish centre for Assistive Technology, The Sweedish Handicap Institution and the Labour and Welfare Organization (NAV) in Norway. Representatives from these institutions make the professional network responsible for the completition of the Symposium.
