Welcome to Sitsite - a website for The Nordic Seating Symposium

This event takes place every 2-3 years in one of the Nordic countries.

The 4th Nordic Seating Symposium took place in Reykjavik, Island 7 – 9th May 2009.

The coming Nordic Seating Symposium is in Stockholm in 2011.

Sitsite is also a website for documents about posture management.

Hjælpemiddelinstituttet (The Danish Centre for Assistive Technology) is a national knowledge centre under the Department of Specialist Consultancy (“VISO”). Our main purpose is to support local government and private organisations in providing qualified and efficient assistive technology services.

The Danish Centre for Asssitive Technology is an independent institution of the Indenrigs- og Socialministeriet (The Ministry of the Interior and Social Affairs) and is a part of The Danish Centre of Specialist Advisory services in Servicestyrelsen (The National Board of Social Services).
